Welcome to Disney's Alive. Here you are thrust into the lift of a Disney character who has been thrust into the life of a Modern Day New Yorker.
Here your character has forgotten about their happy and sunny life of being a Disney hero because of Ursula and her anger towards Ariel. She cast a spell making all villains get what they wanted and keep their memories...and all the heroes to lose theirs.
However Genie has regained his memories. And he wants to get everyone back to where they belong. But to do that he'll have to do a lot of convincing.
So welcome to New York where you can do anything...except remember...
(July 5th. Open to myself, Stitch, Vanellope, and Angel)
If Pepper was forced to choose her favorite part of the city, it would have to be Central Park. There was nothing she loved more than spending hours wandering around. It was open, it was free, and best of all, it just happened to be a tourist trap. Sure many natives enjoyed coming to Central Park. It was a nice place to walk dogs and take a break from the city. But, it was also home to many families and people from out of town, wanting to take in one of the best places New York had to offer.
Today, the freckled teen was happy. She just happened to find twenty dollars, so she didn't have to steal any wallets or evade the police. In all honesty, Pepper always felt a tad guilty when she picked pockets. She always felt that her parents would have taught her better.
If she even had parents.
The girl shook that thought out of her mind when she accidentally bumped into someone. "Oof!" Pepper gave a sheepish grin. "I'm sorry! I didn't see you there..."
This had been a relatively successful day for Angel, she thought. So far, her luck had been pretty good. She had managed to avoid being spotted as she made her way around New York, and it had brought her to Central Park. That was where a lot of suckers usually hung around from what she could tell. Tourists with nothing better to do would drop by and take a look around to get a better idea of what was there. For Angel, it was the perfect opportunity to try and get herself some money or food. Usually it was the latter that she went after, though, because Angel tended to try and limit what she took for money on a daily basis. Today, she had just wanted a bite to eat. She had managed to find one tourist who had left a bit of lunch unattended, and Angel took her opportunity. She strolled by, looking casual as she could manage, and when no one was looking she snatched up what remained of a sandwich before being on her way.
"Sucker," Angel chuckled to herself as she strolled away. The sandwich didn't have a lot left of it, and it really was more like half of a sandwich at that point because of that, but it was something that Angel would take over anything else that day. She wanted to have something in her so she could carry on like nothing had happened. Just another day on the streets and another day of blending in, she told herself. Sooner or later she might go back to trying to find a family, but after the failures she'd faced? It wasn't likely. For the time being, the blonde was more concerned with her meal. She...
All of a sudden, her thoughts were broken away from. She felt another someone bumping into her, and the surprise from that much almost made Angel loose her lunch. Not in the sense of being sick, but in the sense that she almost let her sandwich drop onto the ground beneath her. The blonde's blue eyes went wide and she went to snatch up her meal again.
"Shit... Shit, shit, shit," Angel muttered to herself. Thankfully, she was able to catch the sandwich before it hit the ground. Relief flooded through her as she stood up straight again, and she looked to see who had bumped into her. It turned out it was a girl a small handful of years younger than her. That was odd. Well... Maybe it wasn't too odd. People came to Central Park every day to see what was there and enjoy themselves. But Pepper seemed to be on her own.
"It's fine. I didn't lose my meal, so it's nothing to worry about," Angel said. She would have been peeved if she had lost her sandwich. It wasn't much, but it had been something that she sorely wanted and needed. Another day, though, she would go after something bigger. For the moment she wanted to ask what was on her mind.
Not that there was anything unusual about that in the slightest. Central Park was Vanellope's most regular hangout, the little girl saw people coming and going basically all the time; and especially in the height of summer, a time of year which it had to be more or less reaching by now. People were everywhere down on the ground, having picnics and walking dogs and just hanging out, and...
Vanellope had learned to keep well out of their way. Sure, sometimes she'd sneak down to ground level, raid a picnic basket while someone was looking the other way. Half the time, she didn't much like what that rewarded her with - child had a sweet tooth the size of Texas, though she'd never been able to figure out quite why - but beggars couldn't be choosers. And while she might, on occassion, call the attention of someone who was all alone...
Otherwise, she'd just keep away. Vanellope had bad experiences with groups, after all. The kids who constantly poked fun at her always hung around in groups. The adults who tutted disapprovingly at her and called her a mistake, similarly, seemed to always cluster together, too. So, sort of on principle, Vanellope kept the fudge away from anything that even remotely resembled being part of a group.
That was the curious thing about the two older girls she was watching, though. Even though they looked, from her angle, as if they were together... something that she couldn't quite put a finger on gave Vanellope the impression that wasn't actually the case. It didn't really matter to her, in either case--
Just that, if one of them moved on, she might try engaging the other in conversation. That couldn't go too badly, could it? Not when she was safely way out of their reach up here.
So, from her vantage point on a sturdy branch of one of the trees overhead, Vanellope simply lay on her stomach and continued to observe. Just to see where this went.
Vanellope: Aaaaand... that's all of Berlioz's app done except for the faceclaim. Why are face claims always the hardest part of anything? xD
