Welcome to Disney's Alive. Here you are thrust into the lift of a Disney character who has been thrust into the life of a Modern Day New Yorker.
Here your character has forgotten about their happy and sunny life of being a Disney hero because of Ursula and her anger towards Ariel. She cast a spell making all villains get what they wanted and keep their memories...and all the heroes to lose theirs.
However Genie has regained his memories. And he wants to get everyone back to where they belong. But to do that he'll have to do a lot of convincing.
So welcome to New York where you can do anything...except remember...
It was so hot! Too hot for Stitch to be outside. So he'd snuck a couple of bucks off an unsuspecting couple and paid for a zoo ticket. The Central Park zoo was one of his favorite places. He pushed past a small family into the frozen section and sat down in front of the Penguin exhibit. He placed his hands in his pockets and scowled as people stepped over him to walk by. He didn't care. He liked watching the funny little birds waddle above him. He stared before standing. The rude teenager pushed towards the glass and placed his pale hands on it. Not only was the glass cold but he could also see the funny birds up close.
Stepping back a bit he stumbled into someone. Without realizing it he gave a loud snarl, fingers gripped in fists. His eyes widened. As the person and their child walked away, the 16-year old looked at his hands. That wasn't the first time he'd snarled at someone who got close to him. He gave a snort and turned back to the birds. But someone was standing in the spot he'd been in before.
Stitch wasn't the only one who had managed to get into the zoo that day.
This wasn't Angel's usual stomping grounds, but she had managed to pickpocket a bit of money from an unsuspecting passerby and paid for a ticket to get in. Now, she would be able to make a bit of an effort to get something from here. Whether it was food or money, Angel couldn't be sure. But she did know that she wanted to spend the day here. Not because she was interested in seeing the animals, of course, but because she knew that unsuspecting people always hung around the Central Park zoo. She'd be able to snag some money or even some food when no one was looking. That was exactly what the blonde decided to do as she meandered about the zoo and looked for someone to make a target. Eventually, her feet carried her to where the penguin exhibit was.
What she saw when she got there was Stitch. He'd stumbled into someone, Angel saw, and his reaction was... Interesting to say the very least. Angel didn't comment, though. she saw an opportunity to get a better look at the birds for herself and carefully moved to where Stitch had been previously. When he seemed to notice, and when he told her to move because it was 'his' spot, Angel looked at him and her brows creased a bit.
"Funny," Angel said. "I don't see your name on it." Finder's keepers and all that, right? A street kid had to take what they could get when it came to these sorts of things. She could easily move on and return to her intended purpose, but this small detour seemed worth it. Besides, it wasn't like it was the only spot in the area. Stitch had plenty of space.
Stitch balled his hands into fists, a slight flush of fury burning across his pale cheeks. This girl - pretty girl - had just taken his cool spot in front of the penguins! It wasn't fair! "Why not just pick a different spot?" He snorted and pointed up at the birds waddling about.
"You can see them better from the middle spot there," He snorted, "And the glass is cool." He huffed. Grumpy male was grumpy now. His eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of the blonde. She was a pretty thing, older than him by a bit, but still really pretty. Stitch was a ladies man, that much was clear. But he didn't feel like flirting right then. He wanted his spot.
He gave a small snort and pushed next to Angel, placing his hands on the glass again. "I bet you don't even know anything about penguins," he said with a chuckle. Stitch was a smart kid. To get out of the rain he often went to the New York Public Library and read books until they kicked him out. So he was smart. He KNEW he was smarter than Angel!
Angel just rolled her eyes. This kid did make sense, at least about being able to see the penguins better from the middle, but it wasn't like Angel was all that big to begin with. Stitch could scoot past her if he wanted and just see that way. But apparently he just wanted to be a butt. Well, Angel couldn't exactly argue that point. She just watched as the boy moved next to her and put his hands on the glass. At least he had taken in the idea that yes, he could stand next to her. That was all the blonde could ask for. But as she listened, she shrugged a bit. Truth be told, Angel had only a very limited education. Most of her days had been spent on the streets, and what she learned she picked up as she went.
"I can't say I know much about them, no," Angel answered. "But they look like interesting birds. And they look happy..." They were like a little family in her eyes, and in a way she envied them. Even animals got to have the things that Angel didn't. But she wasn't about to say that much out loud. If anything, she'd just keep her attention on the birds and keep watching them as a result. But sooner or later, she imagined that Stitch would want to know who she even was supposed to be. She wanted to know who he was, too.
"I'm Angel," she said after a moment. Normally she didn't go out of her way to introduce herself unless she had to, but this was a special case. They were alone, or at least seemed to be, and it was likely that the two of them wouldn't encounter one another again any time soon. Maybe it would all just kind of end with them going their separate ways after that and pretending like it never happened.
"Do you make a habit of coming to this exhibit? Or was I just lucky to run into you?"
